We protect what we value – and protecting the environment is especially close to our hearts. As a responsible family business, we live the concept of sustainability. Awards such as the Ökotex, Cradle-to-Cradle or the FSC® certifications are proof of our commitment. Recently, this series has been pleased to welcome a prominent new addition: Our LevelGreen collections integrated since 2014, received an addition in 2021 with pleated fabrics with the renowned REMOkey® certification, as their fabric consists of 100% PET bottles or single-use packaging. Their actual use, for example, was found in the pleated fabrics made from polluted PET bottles from the rivers of Europe. After collection from the riverbed cleaning, they are shredded, melted down and woven into a fine yarn. Thanks to this process, we reduce energy consumption in the fabric production by almost half when compared to normal cotton production. Water consumption is also significantly minimized. By the way: six bottles can be converted into one whole square metre of fabric. This is how sustainability works! With the Pleated LevelGreen collection, you’re not only ensuring a stylish and protected home, you are also protecting our environment at the same time.
