Because the underglass awning is located beneath the glass roof, it is—not like overglass awnings— not directly exposed to the weather. That is why it is also called an under-roof awning. Our innovative, state-of-the-art underglass awnings – as the name suggests – are mounted beneath a glass roof structure. The awning runs in straight guide rails made of sturdy, powder-coated aluminum profiles. When retracted, the awning is fully protected inside a permanently installed cassette.
Underglass or under-roof awnings are primarily used for conservatories, but also for modern cold roofs or patio covers. Areas with a minimum width of 150 cm and a maximum width of up to 600 cm can be shaded. The projection can also reach up to 600 cm. The greatest advantage of an underglass awning: it is protected from the elements even when extended!

Since the color pigments are embedded in the acrylic fibers during the spinning process, the color of an underglass awning made from acrylic fabric does not fade quickly. Additionally, the material impresses with its cozy, textile character.
- Awnings made from sustainable polyester fabric are also extremely robust and durable. This fabric is also solution-dyed and stands out with excellent UV protection properties. Thanks to the material’s good shape-retention behavior, a polyester awning is less likely to stretch out or develop creases.

A special Reflect® coating optimizes the insulation capacity of a KADECO awning. It ensures that a large portion of the heat energy is blocked or insulated.
