What types of fly screens are there?
Fly screens, also called insect protection, come in a variety of shapes and versions.
Insect protection tension frames are especially suitable for windows as they remain permanently outside the window. The window sashes can still be opened inward without restriction.
Insect protection hinged frames for windows and doors impress with easy opening and closing via a handle and can also be equipped with a cat or dog flap.
Insect protection swing doors allow passage in both directions without having to operate the door by hand. Strong block magnets ensure the swing door always swings back to the center position.
Insect protection sliding frames are ideal for use on large doors or window fronts. They can be easily opened and closed via an integrated grip rail or additionally with a foot-operated plate.
Insect protection pleated doors and pleated frames save space as the system can be folded into a narrow package. Additionally, very large areas can be realized.
Insect protection roller blinds are suitable for windows up to 200 cm wide and are very easy to operate using a grip rail. With just a few hand movements, the insect screen roller blind can be opened or closed – whenever needed.
Light well covers are specifically designed for light wells, basement windows, and vaulted windows with built-in light wells to protect them from insects, rodents, and coarse dirt. For this, durable, corrosion-free fabric made from 0.5 mm thick V2A steel is used.
