Wind sensors

If the wind picks up, your awning retracts automatically thanks to the wind sensor and is therefore protected from the elements. An important safety aspect if you happen to forget your awning or a storm is brewing. Wind sensors are also available combined with sun sensors.

Enhanced control options

Choose the io radio-controlled motor with bidirectional technology and enjoy the almost limitless possibilities: use your smartphone as a simple controller, programme time-controlled scenes and create automated processes, simulating your presence while you relax on holiday.

Sun sensors

The sun sensor enables the awning to extend automatically when the sunlight is intense. This means your indoor space will stay optimally protected from the heat. And you can enjoy a carefree, pleasant living environment without your rooms heating up.

Heater

Make yourself comfortable! You can even enjoy your outdoor space and entertain your guests on cooler days or in the evenings: with our designer heaters your patio or balcony will feel well-protected and comfortably warm. Thanks to their short-wave infrared beams, our heaters are much more effective and consume less energy than gas-powered patio heaters or quartz radiators.

Intelligent home automation makes your life easier in many areas. To achieve this, the Connexoon io Box communicates with Somfy’s TaHoma® hub via WLAN. This means you always have all the functionalities of your house at your fingertips, whether with additional voice control, pre-programmed scenes or by app when you are on the go. For even greater security and energy efficiency

Automated processes also prompt your sun protection to keep changing position during the day. You can either set up these scenarios via a time-controlled programme timer or simply with the TaHoma® box. The presence simulation even makes your outdoor area look occupied during your absence and burglars will be deterred.
