Slanted vertical blinds for gable windows & custom shapes
Windows don’t always have to be rectangular; on the contrary, slanted windows, gable windows, trapezoid windows, triangular windows, and other special shapes give buildings a unique and individual appearance. Inside, you can achieve perfect privacy and sun protection with slanted vertical blinds – also called slope systems – while adding great design accents. Determining the right size and installing them is much easier than you might think.
On this page, we have therefore summarized everything you need to know about the possible types, sizes, and operating options for slanted vertical blinds.

Sizes of slanted vertical blinds from KADECO
Even with our slanted blinds, you can choose between slat widths of 89 mm and 127 mm. This determines the maximum size of the vertical blind:
- With 89 mm slats, the maximum height is 300 cm with a maximum rail length of 495 cm.
- With 127 mm slats, the maximum height is 450 cm with a maximum rail length of 600 cm.
For both options, the maximum tilt angle is 55°. As you can see, even for very large windows, you can find a suitable slanted vertical blind.
Colors and Design
Of course, vertical blinds primarily provide privacy and glare protection; but isn’t it even better if the blinds also enhance the room? With KADECO’s slanted vertical blinds, you have almost endless design possibilities. It starts with the color of the guide rails: in addition to the standard colors white, black, anthracite, and window gray, you can choose your own custom colors.

Operation options and additional features
The practical DuoLine control allows easy adjustment via a cord, while the slats can be tilted using a chain. Alternatively, the OneLine control in straight vertical blinds combines both functions into a single chain. Importantly, the chain breakaway system according to DIN EN 13120 ensures optimal safety, making the vertical blinds suitable even for children’s rooms.
Even more convenient are the motorized slats of the ElectricLine. You can have the control element installed on either the high or the low side. Details on motorization and possible Smart Home integration can be found here:

Installation, Accessories, and Recommendations
You can mount the sloped vertical blinds on the ceiling or the wall; both options are easily possible. The key factor is the installation situation and what works best for you. This also applies to additional accessories such as mounting clips, designer wall brackets, and installation profiles in various colors. A specialist retailer of your choice can help you determine the correct measurements.
