Using forests in an environmentally responsible, socially equitable and economically viable way – this is the goal firmly anchored in the international FSC® certification system. As a responsible family business, we support this principle of sustainability by using FSC®-certified wood from Central Africa in the production of our wooden Venetian blind range Nola.
True to the motto "Forests for all – forever", it is the heartfelt mission of the non-profit and transparent organisation Forest Stewardship Council®, or FSC® for short, to guide forests and plantations worldwide into a healthy future. Our wooden Venetian blinds in the Nola and Kyoto ranges also carry the FSC® label (FSC® C136945), thus standing for a responsible approach to forest resources.
The aim is to preserve biodiversity and the original natural reserves. But sensitivity towards biodiversity as well as respectful treatment of indigenous peoples and workers are also important aspects of the FSC®.
