KADECO relies on green electricity from renewable sources

Sustainability, climate protection and environmental protection are important topics when it comes to preserving our planet in the long term. Even more important, however, is to actually take action. Even small steps can make a big difference – and so can the use of green electricity.

As a company, we see ourselves as having a social responsibility to act sustainably and conscientiously. This attitude is reflected both in the use of ecologically safe materials – such as those complying with the OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 or meeting the Bronze status of the Cradle to Cradle criteria – as well as in the use of green electricity.

And we have proof of this in black and white: the purchase of our green electricity is monitored through the cancellation of so-called certificates. This ensures that the energy we draw throughout the year ultimately comes from renewable sources – and thus contributes to the sustainable development of society. While we cannot trace exactly which electricity flows through our cables, we can guarantee that the total amount we use has been fed into the grid from green electricity sources – in our case, for example, from a Norwegian hydroelectric power plant.
