Environmental aspects of the new powder coating system
At the KADECO plant in Lübbecke, a new, state-of-the-art powder coating system ensures that all metal parts of the awning are given a high-quality, durable and visually appealing coating. The colour change required for this takes just 30 seconds – and with this advanced technology, we also guarantee sustainable production under environmentally friendly conditions.

Latest technologies – particularly environmentally friendly
By using the latest technologies, cycle times are reduced, for example, meaning that up to 52 per cent of the energy required for the entire coating process can be saved. In addition, we rely on a chromium-free pre-treatment and generally avoid the use of toxic and environmentally harmful chromium.
A further environmental aspect that we took into account when planning our new powder coating system is the treatment of the wastewater produced. The result is a closed-loop system in which the water is recycled directly on site – meaning that only very small quantities of filtered substances need to be disposed of.
In-house powder coating for greater efficiency
The new powder coating system also eliminates the need for transport to and from external service providers, which likewise has a positive impact on our environmental footprint. In addition, we save up to one tonne of packaging material per year – and are therefore, all in all, proud to be able to make a thoroughly positive contribution to environmental protection with the new powder coating system.
