KADECO honeycomb pleated blinds are resistant to dust and dirt thanks to the special coating that is applied to both sides. For tensioned honeycomb blind systems , we offer pleats in widths of 20 mm.
Tensioned special designs offer solutions for practically any type of window, from trapezoidal right through to hexagonal shapes. Fabric beading that is worked into the rail profi les as an extra special touch underlines the high-quality appearance of these blinds. The system bracing and profi le guide are specially adapted to the size and shape of the window in question. Fixed clamping cords support the fabric on the diagonal. The fabric can be pushed together into a stack along the system‘s longest side. An attractively shaped handle is used to move these systems.
The system bracing elements inside the honeycomb blind ensure that the fabric has a homogeneous surface without any dots of light. This is particularly beneficial for darkening fabrics when the blind is closed, for example in bedrooms. It is also possible to combine transparent and darkening fabrics in one system, creating additional options for the interplay of light and shade.

Additional movement rails combine two different fabrics into one tensioned system, enabling you to achieve a blind that offers decorative sun protection and blackout features, for example, in perfect harmony. Stacking can be either together at the top or separate at the top and bottom.

Windows impact on a building‘s energy consumption in two ways: on the one hand, they allow the sun‘s warming rays to enter the building, but on the other, a lot of heat is lost from them. The special honeycomb structure of the fabric forms pockets of air that provide insulation. At low outdoor temperatures, this reduces the thermal loss at the window, therefore saving heating energy. The lower the insulating effect of the window glazing, the higher the energy-saving effect achieved with honeycomb blinds.

In the summer months, honeycomb blinds again guarantee more pleasant temperatures in the house whilst drastically reducing the cooling energy requirements.

In addition to their insulating properties, honeycomb pleated blinds also significantly help to improve indoor acoustics. They absorb sound thanks to their textile structure and their pleats help to break up the smooth, sound-reflecting window surfaces. This advantage can be heard loud and clear in conservatories with large glass
surfaces or in offices and meetings rooms.

KADECO rooflight honeycomb pleated blinds can be used universally on all standard types of rooflight. Carbon fibre-coated bracing wires at the sides guide the honeycomb pleated blinds up and down the sloping area of the window. The Elegance version can be easily flush-mounted by means of side rails, and its attractively shaped
cassette provides the optimum finishing touch. WDF10 and WDF20 are also optionally available with the new designer handle and magnetic catch on the operating rails.

The black-out materials help you to achieve exceptional results, for example, in the bedroom. As the cords for tensioning run on the inside of the honeycomb fabric, you cannot see any dots of light at the punches unlike in normal pleated blinds.

These days, adhesive technology is widespread in all modern fields of industry, such as the automobile and clothing sectors. KADECO‘s new adhesive kit now allows easy installation of honeycomb pleated and Roman blinds right onto the window pane. The adhesive system with its two made-to-measure aluminium side profiles is the perfect
solution, especially where screw fastening is not wanted or possible.
The special adhesive satisfies the stringent requirements for UV and temperature resistance and guarantees permanent adhesion of the window decoration. Once the glass has been cleaned and the adhesive kit mounted, the honeycomb pleated or Roman blinds can be mounted straight away, without having to wait for the glue to
harden. The adhesive comes off without trace, of course.
